Information Gathering: During our first meeting, we develop a comprehensive overview of your organization including, culture, corporate vision and your position requirements. We will also, at this time, conduct preliminary research to ascertain whether or not the search project can be completed. i.e. resources available in the appropriate division and market availability.
Positioning: Next we compile a list of objectives for the search to be distributed during the process to attract ideal candidates to the search project. This assists us in creating the ideal candidate profile and assembling an information package that accurately describes the opportunity and your organization.
After the final selection has been made, it is time to make an offer. Our experience and knowledge of market trends associated with compensation can be very useful to clients, enabling them to not only attract the sought after candidates but retain him/her once they are on board. Our associates are very well trained negotiators who will be happy to guide you and handle this delicate part of the process.

Final Stage and Follow Ups: After the offer letter has been signed and the candidate commences work, The Orion Group will maintain open and continuous communications with the client and candidate to ensure an efficient, seamless transition.
Research: Associates will thoroughly research the competitive landscape and market trends in your industry to develop a direction for the search. A search strategy is then designed on that will make good use of our innovative technologies and vast network of search partners and contacts. This initial market scan is critical as it really defines the objectives, milestones and general direction of the search. Following the scan, our thorough research is put to the test as we compile a list of prospective talent who we recognize to be ideal candidates for the project.
Screening: The Orion Group thoroughly screens, analyzes qualifications, past performances and personality traits of all suitable candidates. We will also conduct testing of strengths and weaknesses where appropriate. Following extensive screening phase, a comprehensive list of candidates with profiles is presented to you with our recommendations.
Throughout the process, the client and prospective candidates are always kept up to speed on the progress of the search, market reaction and other feedback from candidates and clients alike are shared as appropriate.
Interviews and Selection: After the client has reviewed the profiles and weve assisted in compiling a short list of candidates, we will organize candidate interviews. Following each interview, we will obtain and deliver feedback from the client and candidate(s) involved. The client then, after a full review of all candidate reports and interview sessions, selects a final contender.
